OK OK I gave more than two weeks notice when it came to work. In fact I think I gave 5 months but we are down to the last 2 weeks left. It's getting harder and harder to pay attention to work, my mind is totally gone. I think after the last few months of waiting it's not time for me to move on. So at the end of the 2 weeks what will I be giving up?
Working for people (minus a few) that don' care about what I do.
Long hours trying to make something look good only to be told it doesn't matter.
Being told that I don't do anything.
Being told how mean I am when I need someone to work on a project.
Being pulled into an office to once again hear the list of complaints about me.
That is just to name a few. So it's easy to say I won't really miss the place. However it wasn't all bad. There are some things I will miss. Like,
Yelling at Lynn and him yelling back only to make Tena run out of the room because she thought we were really fighting.
Walking in a room to answer questions because I knew so much about my job.
I will miss Tena, Rachel, Lynn, and a few others.
Lets not forget the pranks such as sand in my purse.
The talking and laughter that was shared.
So after 7 years of working for WesTech Engineering I say good bye in just a short 2 weeks.

Now that I got into School, Where do I Live?
The moment I got into school I started to freak out. I needed a place to live. Seeing that I grew up in St. Louis I knew the area pretty well and started looking at places online. When I found one in a location I thought would be good I sent my wonderful friend Emily to go look at it for me. After a few months of this I finally found the place I will live. Only a mile away from Emily, just down the street from Emily's kids school, a hop, skip and a jump away from the highway so I can get to school, and in a nice quiet area that is nice to live.

When I Grow Up I Want to be... But How do I get there?
I know it sounds weird but I plan on working in a museum. I want to share my love of art to the whole world. I don't care if people go to a museum and have no clue what it took to get it there or who did all the work. Fame is not what I am going for. I want to be in the background and do the work because to me it is fun. I know most people don't get that but someone has to do it and I am willing to be that person.
Now that I know what I want to be when I grow up, how do I get there? Well it takes a lot of education. This semester I will be taking...
Introduction to Literary Study
Communicating in French I
Northern Renaissance Art
Theological Foundations
Origins of the Modern World to 1500
History of Western Art II
I signed up for18 credit hours. My academic adviser told me that we did a good job with my classes because they are mostly in the morning. This way I can spend the rest of my afternoon in the library. Isn't that a scary thought at my age? Sitting in a library studying. Maybe I will meet a mouse and become friends with him because I won't have time for anything else. This is the price I will pay for the next 2 years because I know what I want to be when I grow up. What was I thinking?
